What if the heaviness we've been carrying - the old wounds, the recurring fears, the tempting habits we can't seem to put down - isn't who we are at all, but a story we've been telling ourselves so long we've forgotten we wrote it?

This series gathers some of the most beloved teachers in the A Course in Miracles community - Jennifer Hadley, Jon Mundy, Lisa Natoli, Gary Renard, and Miranda Macpherson - around a single quiet revelation: we don't have to learn through pain. We can learn through Joy. Spiritual sight is the capacity to see ourselves and the world through the eyes of the Higher Holy Spirit Self, rather than through the lens of the past.

Across these conversations, we look at the personal crucifixion stories we keep affirming, the willingness to turn things over to Spirit, the temptations and torments that pretend to be necessary, the divine guidance that has been with us all along, and the Love we expand into as the barriers come down. The thread running through each class is the one A Course in Miracles gives us: Love is the only healer, and the only thing that has ever been true about us.

These are practical, honest, and deeply hopeful conversations. We're so glad to share them with you.

Ending Your Personal Crucifixion Story - Jennifer Hadley

A personal crucifixion story is the version of our life where we're the one who's been wounded, the one who's been left behind, the one who's been betrayed. It can run for years - sometimes for whole lifetimes. And A Course in Miracles tells us we can't begin our resurrection until we've put it down.

Jennifer Hadley brings practical tools to recognize where we're still affirming the old story. She walks us through what she calls "crucifixion fixation" - the addictive pull of negative thinking and the false identification with our own wounding - and the discovery that nobody has actually betrayed us. Betrayal is a perception, an opinion, a piece of the script we've kept reading from. The good news: we don't have to figure out how to stop. We just have to be willing to be done. The Holy Spirit shows the way from there.

A class for anyone who senses they're ready to be complete with the crucifixion, even if they don't yet know what comes next.

Choosing Surrender - Jon Mundy

When Jon Mundy was diagnosed with cancer, his first response was simple: this isn't in my script. After surgery confirmed the cancer had spread, he woke up at 4 a.m. and faced it. And sometime after that, he said yes to it. "Okay, come get me." That was the moment, he says, he probably wasn't going to die. He had stopped fighting.

In this conversation, Jon - founder of Miracles Magazine and one of the most respected A Course in Miracles teachers anywhere - shares what surrender actually looks like when life gets serious. A Course in Miracles never uses the word "surrender." What it uses is "willingness to turn things over." Jon and Jennifer explore what that turning-over looks like in practice, why "there is no body" is one of the most freeing teachings in A Course in Miracles, and the real invitation of the Course: not to do, but to undo.

A class for anyone facing something they'd rather not face who's ready to stop fighting and let Spirit lead.

Releasing Temptation & Torment - Lisa Natoli

What if every temptation - every craving, every distraction, every pull toward the thing that always leaves us feeling worse - is really just one temptation in disguise? A Course in Miracles says it plainly: the only temptation is the temptation to abandon God. Which, Lisa Natoli says, means the temptation to abandon ourselves.

Lisa - co-founder of the Teachers of God Foundation and author of Gorgeous for God - knows this territory from the inside. She walks through her own years with alcohol, cigarettes, food, and the particular shame of doing the thing we know we don't want to do, again and again. And she shares the way things began to fall away, one by one, when willingness finally arrived. The torment, she and Jennifer agree, is what we feel when we've wandered off into fear. The way home is willingness, not willpower.

A practical, honest conversation for anyone who's ready to stop fighting their habits and start remembering what they actually are.

Following Divine Guidance - Gary Renard

The Holy Spirit, A Course in Miracles tells us, is always speaking. The work is in learning to listen.

Gary Renard - author of The Disappearance of the Universe and one of the most distinctive voices in modern A Course in Miracles teaching - joins Jennifer for a conversation on what divine guidance actually sounds like and how to tell it from the chatter of the ego. Gary shares his own arc out of depression and into the years of conversations with Arten and Pursah that became Disappearance. He explains why the Holy Spirit takes form (an idea, an intuition, sometimes the image of a teacher, an angel, or an Ascended Master), why forgiveness is the fastest way to clear the unconscious guilt that muddies the signal, and a clean way to discern: if the message is Love, forgiveness, and peace, that's Spirit. If it's fear, judgment, or guilt, that's ego.

A class for anyone who has ever wondered whether they're really being guided, or just talking to themselves.

Expanding into Love - Miranda Macpherson

To "expand into Love" sounds like a beautiful idea, and like a tall order. What does it actually require? Less than we think, and more than the ego is comfortable with.

In this conversation, Miranda Macpherson and Jennifer explore what A Course in Miracles points to as the essential pillars of awakening: the willingness to see the barriers we've placed in Love's path, the practice of looking through the eyes of the Holy Spirit, the honest prayer that doesn't dress itself up, and the deep humility that lets grace do its work. They look at compassion and forgiveness as expressions of the same one thing, and at what it really means to lay our fears on the altar rather than to keep managing them.

A culminating class on the gentlest, most freeing question we could ever sit with: what would happen if we stopped resisting the Love we already are?
