What if the most important relationship we'll ever heal is the one with ourselves? In this ninth series of Living A Course in Miracles, eight extraordinary teachers help us do the deep, tender, courageous work of loving ourselves free - free from illness, unworthiness, self-attack, co-dependence, anger, and every belief that says we are anything less than the Love that created us.

Together we explore how to bring self-love to the experience of illness, how to develop a holy relationship with the body, and what happens when we let the ego drive our spiritual practice instead of the Holy Spirit. We learn to heal the unworthiness that runs our lives, to love others without losing ourselves, and to recognize the martyr complex and co-dependence patterns that keep us giving from depletion instead of overflow. We discover how to break the habits of self-attack and dissolve the anger that has been hiding underneath it all.

Loving ourselves free isn't selfish - it's the most generous thing we can do. When we heal the relationship with ourselves, every other relationship transforms. Because we're all One, our self-love ripples outward and blesses the whole world. We can do this together.

Healing Illness with Self-Love with David Fishman

What if the most healing thing we could bring to illness isn't a remedy but self-love? David opens the series with a courageous exploration of accepting the Course as given rather than filtering it through the ego, finding acceptance even within the appearance of illness, and understanding the relationship between resistance, acceptance, and inclusion. We learn to love what we are right now - not some future healed version of ourselves - and that purpose is what gives meaning to every experience. Releasing specialness and differences, practical tools for daily application, and the Course's powerful teaching that illness is a defense against the truth - when we stop denying God's blessing, healing begins.

Self-Love and Your Body with James Twyman

The body is not who we are - but it is a device for communicating our soul. James brings his extraordinary gift of music and spirit to help us develop a loving relationship with the body. We explore how to bring ease and grace to the illusion of having a body, what it means to constantly seek guidance in our relationship with the physical, and the inspiration of Mother Teresa as beauty expressing beauty in the world. James performs her Servant Prayer and teaches us about the hypnotism of believing the body is real, the practice of seeing the Christ in each other, and the transformative daily practice of pretending the truth until it becomes our living experience.

Self-Love in Spiritual Practice with Jon Mundy

Here's a question most of us don't want to ask - is the ego driving our spiritual practice? Jon returns with his deep wisdom to explore what self-love really looks like in our daily practice. We learn to take total responsibility for everything that happens, discover the beautiful parable of the boy in the boat, and explore what willingness to look at things really means. Free will and its application to spiritual practice, the art of dancing with the divine, and the humbling truth that we must practice until we cannot get it wrong - these are the teachings that transform us. Stumbling and falling is part of the process. Even illness can be experienced as a beautiful gift. Jon introduces the practice of word fasting and offers a surprising solution to loneliness.

Healing Unworthiness with Regina Dawn Akers

Unworthiness runs almost every life - and most of us don't even see it operating. Regina brings her trademark clarity to the relationship between thought and belief, how to notice the judgments that underlie our deepest beliefs about ourselves, and how to reverse the process that created the belief in the first place. We learn to trust the Holy Spirit's evaluation of us instead of the ego's, to check our intention when releasing judgment, and to use emotions as indicators of upset rather than evidence of truth. Guilt can become a helpmate, healing happens through practicing kindness and gentleness, and the mirrored belief of rejectability finally gets named. Regina introduces the fast track to salvation and the helpfulness of self-dialog.

Loving Others and Loving Yourself with Patricia Cota-Robles

How do we love others without losing ourselves - and love ourselves without becoming selfish? Patricia brings a vast spiritual perspective to this essential question. We return to the cause of our relationships, learn to ask the questions and truly listen for the answers, and discover how to prove truth to ourselves through direct experience. The ego's fragmented consciousness, the increasing light of God in our awareness, and the power of I AM as a direct connection with the divine Presence all come into focus. We learn to work with cause instead of outer appearances, to invoke the light, and to open the portal within the right brain. Patricia shares her vision of the shift of the ages and guides us through a visualization for the new heaven and earth that begins within.

Healing Martyr Complex and Co-Dependence with Colin Tipping

Two of the most deeply entrenched patterns in spiritual communities are martyrdom and co-dependence - and they often wear spiritual clothes. Colin returns to shine a light on how martyrdom is really a victim complex in disguise, the two different uses of co-dependence, and how radical forgiveness and self-forgiveness worksheets can dismantle these patterns. We learn to stop looking for validation outside ourselves, to know our uncompromisable values, and to expand our relationships from co-dependence to the consciousness of God. What happens when the manipulation of co-dependence finally collapses is both terrifying and liberating. No longer needing anything from another, healing ourselves before attracting new relationships, and naming the healer's theme of personal unworthiness - this is where real freedom begins.

Healing Beliefs and Habits of Self-Attack with Sherri Lane

The patterns of self-attack that keep us imprisoned are often so familiar we don't even recognize them as a choice. Sherri brings a unique and powerful perspective to the big awakening that happens when we see our self-sabotage clearly, how negative thought patterns increase in intensity when left unchecked, and practical ways to identify our energy drains and replace them with positive practices. We explore the habits of fear and illness, how to break the cycle so the change becomes the new pattern, and the peace and insight that comes when we finally choose truth. Walking with the angels, asking for angelic help in healing addictions, and developing a genuine relationship with the angels through free will and willingness - Sherri opens a door many of us didn't know was there.

Dissolving Anger - Living the Love with Jennifer Hadley

Underneath so much of our suffering lives a river of anger we've been afraid to look at. Jennifer brings the entire series home with a powerful class on how to dissolve anger through Love. We explore how we interpret anger, the ways we give our power away, and the devastating impact of grievances on the mind. Choosing our teacher - ego or Holy Spirit - in every moment of upset is always available to us, and holding grievances is always a choice against peace. We learn the connection between attacking, defending, and poverty consciousness, how depression is really feeling deprived of Love, and the powerful teaching that anger is either an implosion or an explosion - but either way, it's a call to return to Love.
